Whatsapp has rolled out the latest update for iOS users, which brings features like customising notification badges and a support page for iCloud backup troubleshooting, and more. This latest feature will allow users to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices but just like the dark mode, this feature has also been put on hold for a long time. The latest version of Whatsapp that you can now download for the Apple iPhone is version 2.19.110.
This is awesome because you can now keep notifications for important group and chats enabled, without the risk of spam ending up in the notifications. According to the rumours, WhatsApp will also release an iPad version of the app when this feature is ready. This means that you will be able to use your WhatsApp account on iPhone as well as on the iPad. In addition to that, the update also adds new alignment guidelines to help you position stickers, emojis, and more when editing media in Whatsapp.
This update is only available for Apple iPhone users, at the moment. On Android, the workaround is that when you mute a chat or group, you can toggle the option to “Show Notifications”, depending on what you want.
