The Vivo is “set to launch the second smartphone in its Z-series” in India soon. The smartphone is likely to be called Vivo Z1x and will debut as the successor to Vivo Z1 pro. The phone will be exclusive to the Flipkart for online sales. The company announced the launch date last week. As we’ve detailed before, this will be the second Vivo Z-series smartphone to make its way in India, and thus far, the affordable lineup looks to be focused at games and photography enthusiasts.
According to the official Vivo Z1x listing on the company’s website, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 SoC. The company has posted benchmark scores of the Snapdragon 712 on its website, comparing it with the Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 660 SoCs.
Last week’s indicates that the Vivo Z1x will run Android Pie out-of-the-box and will come with a 6.38-inch full HD-Super AMOLED display. The Vivo Z1x is likely to arrive in 64GB and 128GB storage variants, with 6GB of RAM.
As for the camera, the upcoming Vivo Z1x is expected to feature three rear camera.
The upcoming Vivo Z1x series will be equipped with 48MP AI primary sensor consisting of the Sony IMX582 sensor. The camera setup at the back and one of the sensors is a wide-angle lens with 120-degree field of view. On the front, the tiny display notch will include a 32-megapixel Selfie-camera, according to the leak.
The Vivo Z1x packs a smaller 4500mAh battery which helped Vivo make the device more compact the Z1 pro. which came with a bigger 5000mAh battery. The phone cames with a 22.5W charger out of the box. Which claims to give you three hour of talking in a 5-minutes charge.
The Vivo Z1x will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner that Vivo claims can unlock the phone in just 0.48 seconds. It has been claims that this phone will come in two colors. The company has also released a teaser of Blue and Purple glossy Gradient finishes.
The Vivo Z1x price in India is still a mystery, however Vivo Z1x is reportedly a rebranded version of the Vivo Z5, which was launched in China last month. It was launched at a starting price of CNY 1,598 (approx Rs. 16,000) for the 6GB RAM, 64GB Storage variant. So, Vivo Z1x is expected to be price around Rs 16,000. The official price of Vivo Z1x will be announced when the phone is launched on September 6 at noon.
