Samsung Galaxy A02 has been made official but its price and availability details haven’t been revealed yet. While the all-new Galaxy A-series phone is slightly different from last year’s Galaxy A02, it retains the 6.5-inch HD+ TFT Infinity-V Display and the 5,000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A02 (2021) specs include the MediaTek MT6739 SoC as opposed to Snapdragon 450 SoC from last year’s model, 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, 5MP front camera, and Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone runs Android 10-based Samsung OneUI out of the box to take care of the software side of things.
Samsung Galaxy A02 price and availability remain a mystery at the moment. It comes in four colour options of Denim Black, Denim Gray, Denim Red and Denim Blue.

Samsung Galaxy A02 ships with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display that bears 720 x 1,560p resolution. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739W chipset coupled with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, 2GB/ 3GB RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB storage. The phone’s storage is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. The handset runs a dated Android 10 out of the box.
In optics, the Samsung Galaxy A02 rocks a dual-camera setup at the back comprising a 13MP primary sensor (f/1.9) and 2MP macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash. The front camera of the phone gets a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
Other highlights of the phone include dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and a 5,000mAh battery with 7.75W charging support. The Galaxy A02 measures 164.0mm x 75.9mm x 9.1mm and weighs 206 grams. There’s no visible fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy A02 but it could have facial recognition.
