Xiaomi could launch Redmi K30 next year. This smartphone is said to come with 5G support and a punch-hole selfie camera in the display. Alongside confirming the existence of the Redmi K20 successor – Redmi K30 – the company also revealed that the smartphone will come with 5G support. The Redmi K20 comes with 4G support. Xiaomi’s Vice President Lu Weibing has confirmed to launch Redmi K30 in 2020 via Weibo.
The Redmi K30 is expected to come with dual 5G support. This smartphone may debut with Qualcomm 7250 chipset. It’s also expected to have dual-selfie cameras that punch out of the display, kind of like the S10+.
The Redmi K30 will come with NSA + SA dual-mode 5G support. We expect the Redmi K30 to come to India as well but it will be interesting to see whether the smartphone launches with 5G support in India or not.
The smartphone is said to compete in China among other Redmi devices. There is nothing known about the K30, but we’ll surely find out as its launch in China approaches next year. It is rumoured that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K30 this year while the Pro version – Redmi K30 Pro – will come next year.
