Oppo Reno Ace could come with Snapdragon 855+ SoC.
Oppo Reno Ace is rumoured to have 65W fast charging support.
Oppo is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone in China, called the Reno Ace and now, we might have some more details about the phone. We also get a first good look at the design of the Reno Ace and the two colours options the phone will debut with.
The Reno Ace is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which offers a slightly faster CPU and GPU compared to the standard Snapdragon 855 powering the Reno 10x Zoom. In addition to announcing that the Reno Ace will launch in China on October 10, the Oppo VP recently also confirmed that the phone will feature a 65W Super VOOC fast charging support. This will be faster than the 50W fast charging tech on the Oppo R17 Pro. In a new teaser, Oppo claims the 65W fast charging tech will fully charge the Reno Ace in just under 30 minutes.
The Reno Ace is also rumoured to feature a waterfall display with extremely curved edges as seen on the new Vivo NEX 3. There’s also mention of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but no slot for a microSD card. The phone is said to run Android 9 Pie. Additionally, the Reno Ace is said to come with a 4,000mAh battery. The listing mentions a total of five cameras (four at the back and one in the front). The rear cameras include a 48-megapixel sensor; a 13-megapixel sensor; an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The selfie camera is said to have a 16-megapixel sensor. Among the rear cameras, the 2-megapixel sensor will mostly likely be a depth camera, followed by a wide-angle and possibly a telephoto. The 48-megapixel sensor will most likely be the main one. It’s said to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution (1080×2400).
