Oppo launched the Reno 2-series smartphone in India in August this year. Now Oppo has announced a price cut on its smartphone the Reno 2F and Reno 2Z in India. The peddler has dropped Rs 2,000 on both the handsets, bringing the starting price down to as low as Rs 23,990. This is for the OPPO Reno 2F, which was originally priced at Rs 25,990. The OPPO Reno 2Z, on the other hand, is available at Rs 27,990 instead of Rs 29,990.

The smartphones with the new price tag are available on Amazon.in starting today. The OPPO Reno 2F comes in Sky White and Lake Green colour options, while the Reno 2Z in Sky White, Luminous Black, and Polar Light hues.

The Oppo Reno 2F and Oppo Reno 2Z have a lot in common. Both of the smartphones are affordable variants of the Oppo Reno 2 series smartphone. Both the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F feature a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This is also a notch-less display, but Oppo hasn’t used the shark fin-style pop-up selfie camera module on these two phones.
They both flaunt a truly bezel-less display, pop-up selfie camera design, and quad-camera setup at the back. Both these devices offer a standard pop-up camera with a 16-megapixel lens on the top centre edge of the phone. The handsets run Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 under the hood. There are an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging technology on both the handsets as well.
However, the Oppo Reno 2z is powered MediaTek’s Helio P90 mobile platform paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Oppo Reno 2F is powered by MediaTek Helio chipset a supported by 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
Both smartphones come with the 4,000mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 charging like all Reno 2 series phones.
