Honor is the latest company to confirm its presence for the IFA. The company has scheduled an event for September 4 teasing the launch of a new phone, tablet, fitness band, laptop and smartwatch.
The IFA will take place in Berlin this year between September 3 and 5. It will be a physical event, unlike other tech events which have been either cancelled or held virtually. Honor’s IFA event is called “Expand your smart life” and its media invite was shared by GSMArena. Other than teasing the new products it didn’t delve into the details yet.
At last year’s IFA, Honor launched its lineup of Internet of Things (IoT) products. These included a range of smart home products. Honor Band 5 was also launched at IFA 2019. The Huawei sub-brand also launched its first smart screen called Honor Vision. More products unveiled at IFA 2019 include in-house Honghu 818 chipset, AI camera NPU chipset and a Wi-Fi chipset.
Joining Honor at IFA will be LG, TCL and its parent company Huawei as well. One major company that has backed out from IFA 2020 is Samsung. It has already held its Unpacked event where it unveiled five new devices including the Galaxy Note 20 series.
Realme has also confirmed its IFA attendance and has been teasing the launch of X3 Pro. The smartphone has been spotted on the TUV Rheinland with 65W fast charging speed, 4,400mAh battery and Snapdragon 865+ chipset.
