One of the most popular app Google Pay had a scheme for people to collect five different stamps during the Diwali period which could be redeemed for gifts. Users necessitate to collect all the five stamps to win Rs 251 and stand a chance to win Rs 1 lakh. However, one stamp has become quite popular because it is difficult to get and users are sharing jokes about it on social media.
The Google pay has launched #StampsWaliDiwali campaign in which users need to collect five stamps such as Diya, Jhumka, Flower, Lantern and Rangoli – to get a gift. However, many users took to social networking platforms to complain about the unavailability of the Rangoli Stamp.
The deadline for the scheme to end nears, many users expressed their eagerness and anger. While some of the users uninstalls the app and others shared jokes and memes on social media. Google Pay has extended the scheme for users to collect all five different stamps by November 11, 2019, 11:59 PM to win prizes. Google Pay has also featured a “Diwali Scanner”, users can scan a Diwali item to earn a new stamp.
