Google is rolling out new privacy feature for its services such as Google Map, YouTube and Google Assistant. The new tools allow users to control, manage, erase and in some cases even prevent the data that Google collects. Google is introducing new feature alongside the Incognito mode built-in.
New Incognito mode for Google Map will prevent Google from gathering data about your usage of Maps including your travel history or the places that you’ve searched on Maps. For YouTube, Google is providing an auto-delete for YouTube History. You can set a particular time period for when you want to keep your YouTube History available. All your YouTube watching history will be deleted automatically before that and you can even now choose to manually delete the history.
For Google Assistant, Google will also roll out an option to delete voice assistant activity by verbal command “Hey Google, delete the last word I said.
