Samsung Galaxy Fold was released in Korean market earlier this month now the company has officially announced that the Galaxy Fold will be launched in India on October 1 on Tuesday. The smartphone was totally set to released earlier on April 26, but due to its hardware issues the manufacturer delayed it to fix issue.
The anticipated smartphone is backed by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage, and features a triple-lens main camera system that can snap crisp 27mm equivalent shots, wide-angle 12mm shots, and a 2X telephoto zoom that’s roughly 52mm equivalent. For selfies, the Fold has three selfie cameras: a 10-megapixel f/2.2 lens that sits above the small screen. This will be used when the device is in folded form. Open the Fold and the rather large notch houses two selfie-cameras: another 10-megapixel f/2.2 shooter along with a wide-angle selfie camera. The Fold unveils a fully functional 7.3-inch plastic OLED screen and it’s a small screen at 4.6-inches, with the elongated aspect ratio making it a smaller 4.6-inches than usual. The smartphone-cum-tablet Galaxy Fold smartphone is likely to be priced between Rs. 1.5 lakh-Rs. 1.75 lakh in India. It will be sold through select retail outlets and will be available only via pre-book mode.
